Your own account is in the account menu (your name, at the foot of the sidebar) › User settings. What you change there is yours alone.
Signing in
- Use Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft, or your e-mail and password.
- Forgot the password? On the sign-in screen, Forgot password? sends you a link to choose a new one.
- If you came in with Google or Microsoft, you have no password yet. In User settings › Security › Password, Set password lets you also sign in with your e-mail.
- To change it, type your Current password and the new one, then Update password. gridOS may e-mail you a code to confirm.
For the code from your phone and the list of devices, see Password, two-step verification and devices.
Your login e-mail
- Open User settings › Profile and click Change e-mail.
- Type the New e-mail and click Send confirmation.
- Open the link sent to the new address (a message also goes to the current one). The e-mail changes once you confirm.
Your name and phone are in Profile too.
Theme and language
In User settings › Preferences, Appearance chooses Light, Dark or System (it follows the device), and Language switches between English, Português and Español. The account menu also has a quick switch for the theme. The theme is kept on each device.
Signed out after 12 hours
If gridOS isn't used for 12 hours on a device, it signs you out there, and the sign-in screen says why. Changes still waiting to be sent go as soon as you sign in again.
Hand the studio to someone else
Only the owner can do this, and only when someone else is on the team.
- Open User settings › Security. Further down, under Danger zone, next to Transfer ownership, click Transfer.
- Choose the New owner and confirm.
You become an admin and keep full access; the new owner manages the plan.
Delete your account
- In Danger zone, next to Delete account and data, click Delete.
- Type your e-mail to confirm and click Permanently delete.
- If you're the only person in the studio, the whole studio and all its data are deleted: clients, projects, tasks, payments, files and messages.
- If others are in it, only your login is deleted. They keep the studio and its data.
- The owner of a studio with other people hands it over first.
Deleting can't be undone. To keep a copy of the studio's data first, see Undo, trash and exporting your data.
