Open Company settings › General. Only the owner and admins see it, and each change saves on its own. Other members see the studio's details under Company details, where they can copy them.
Brand
- Click the picture at the top to add your logo (PNG, JPG or SVG). The name beside it is the studio's name.
- Studio colour: click Edit to choose. gridOS suggests colours From your logo, or you type a colour code. It colours the client portal: the mark in the header and the buttons your clients see.
- Full logo (horizontal): goes on invoices, statements, proposals and the client pages. Without it, the logo above is used.
Company details
Click Edit to change them and Done to lock them again. Copy all copies every detail at once, handy for a form or an e-mail.
- Company name, Tax ID and Address. The address is printed on your invoices, under the studio's name.
- Reporting currency: money totals are shown in it, and payments in other currencies are converted at the day's rate. See Getting paid in practice.
- Country of operation and Timezone: the time zone follows the country (Auto-detect from country), or choose Set manually. It's used for meeting reminders and due dates.
Pix on invoices
This section sits inside Company details, while you edit them. Choose the Key type and type the Pix key. The account holder and city are optional: left blank, gridOS uses the studio's name and address. From then on, every unpaid invoice in reais shows a Pix code and QR code with the amount, on the invoice, its PDF, the e-mail and the portal. A line under the fields says whether the QR is on, or what's missing. The money goes straight to your bank, so mark the invoice paid when it arrives.
Invoices
- Prefix, Next number and Digits set your invoice numbers; the line below shows what the next one will be. A draft doesn't use up a number: it gets one when it's sent or issued, so the numbering has no gaps.
- Payment instructions (optional): bank details, PayPal or a payment link. gridOS shows them to you while you create an invoice, as a reminder of what to pass on to the client.
- Default proposal terms: every new proposal starts with this text, and you can change it in each one.
Your lists
- Project types: the kinds of project you run, such as Brand identity or Website, offered in the project form. Type one and click Add.
- Expense categories: the list offered on every expense and used in the report for your accountant. Back to the default list undoes your changes.
- Company documents: files anyone on the team can open.
Client code
This one is on each client, not in General. Open the client, edit it and fill in Client code (up to three letters). It goes in front of that client's project numbers, for example ABC-01.
The General group also holds Custom fields and Export. For your e-mails, see Studio e-mail.
