Stripe takes card payments in most countries. Each studio connects its own Stripe account: the money goes straight to it, with only Stripe's own fees. gridOS keeps nothing.
Connect
- Open Company settings › Integrations (owner or admin).
- Click Connect with Stripe. Stripe opens: sign in to your account, or create one for free.
- You come back to gridOS, and the card shows the account. Ready to take payments means clients can pay now.
Finish setting up in Stripe means Stripe still needs your business details (identity, bank account). Finish them in the Stripe dashboard (Open Stripe) and click Refresh. gridOS also hears by itself when Stripe approves the account.
How the client pays
- In the portal, each open invoice has Pay. It opens Stripe's payment page for the amount still due, in the invoice's currency.
- The invoice e-mail has a button to pay by card, which opens the portal.
- Without the portal: on the invoice, ⋯ › Copy card payment link, and send the link however you like. It works for 24 hours.
After the payment
- When Stripe confirms it, the payment is recorded on the invoice with the method Card and the note Stripe. If it covers the total, the invoice is marked paid and you get a notice.
- A refund made in the Stripe dashboard shows on that payment's line, and that invoice's reminders stop.
- Payouts to your bank, disputes and receipts are in the Stripe dashboard.
Disconnect
Disconnect removes Pay by card from the portal. Payments already made stay on the invoices. If the connection is removed from Stripe's side, gridOS disconnects too.
For studios in Brazil, Pix, boleto and the service invoice are in Pix, boleto and card with Asaas (Brazil).
