Keyboard shortcuts

Every keyboard shortcut in gridOS: search, the + menu, going to any page, moving through lists, tasks and the calendar.

On the computer, press ? anywhere to see the list in the app. Shortcuts don't fire while you're typing in a field (except ⌘ K). On Windows, use Ctrl where you see ⌘.

Anywhere

  • ⌘ K or /: search and commands.
  • N: open the + menu. Each item in it shows a letter: press it to create that item.
  • ⌘ Z: undo the last action that offered Undo.
  • ?: show the list of shortcuts.
  • Esc: close, or clear the highlight.

Go to a page

Press G, then the letter, quickly:

  • G D Home
  • G I Inbox
  • G P Projects
  • G C Clients
  • G L Pipeline
  • G T Tasks
  • G A Calendar
  • G M Chat
  • G N Notes
  • G F Files
  • G G Payments
  • G R Proposals
  • G E Team
  • G V Overview
  • G S Settings

The letters are the same in every language. Pages you can't open, or have hidden, are left out.

In a list

  • J or ↓: next item. K or ↑: previous item.
  • Enter: open the highlighted item.

This works in the lists of tasks, projects, clients, notes, invoices, events, the team and the Inbox.

On the highlighted task

  • X or Space: complete it.
  • D: due date. P: priority. A: assignee. M: move to another project.
  • Delete (⌫ on a Mac): delete it.
  • ⌘ Enter: open it.
  • Shift F10 or the menu key: open its menu.

Selecting tasks

  • S: select or unselect the highlighted task.
  • ⇧ ↓ or ⇧ ↑: extend the selection.
  • ⌘ A: select the project's tasks; press it again for the whole page.
  • Esc: clear the selection.

With tasks selected, a bar appears to change them all at once. In other lists, ⌘-click or Shift-click selects several rows.

Calendar

  • ← →: previous or next.
  • T: today.
  • M, W, D: month, week, day.
  • N: new event.

Elsewhere

  • In a task's comments, ⌘ Enter sends a comment, or saves one you're editing; Esc cancels the edit.
  • On Home, after Arrange, Option (Alt on Windows) and the arrow keys move the selected block.
