Tasks: quick add, board and subtasks

Add tasks in plain words, see them as a list or a board, and keep track of what blocks what.

Add a task in one line

Click the + Add task at the end of a list, a board column or a project's tasks, and write it the way you'd say it:

Send files tomorrow 3pm @Ana !high

gridOS picks out the date (tomorrow, friday, next week, in 3 days, 10/15), the time (3pm, 15:30), the person (@name), the project (#project) and the priority (!high, !low). What it understood shows as chips; tap a chip to keep that word in the title. The same works in ⌘K.

List or board

Tasks shows a list or a Board with columns by status. Group by project, client, person or status. My tasks shows only yours.

Inside a task

  • Subtasks for the smaller steps.
  • Blocked by when this task has to wait for another one.
  • Comments, with @ to mention someone; they're notified.
  • Repeat (daily, weekdays, weekly…): the next one appears when you complete this one. The task needs a due date.
  • Start timer, to log time on it.

Faster on the computer

On a highlighted task: X completes it, D changes the date, P the priority, A the person. S selects tasks and ⌘A selects all in the project; a bar appears for changing them all at once.
