Write it
- Open Proposals and click Add proposal (the client has to exist; a lead works through Write a proposal).
- Write an introduction, list what's included with the amounts, and add your terms.
- Choose how it's paid: for example 50 % on acceptance and 50 % on delivery, or on set dates.
- Check Valid until (15 days by default) and click Create proposal. It's saved as a draft.
To attach a contract the client signs, see Contracts with e-signature.
Send it
Click Send proposal and choose e-mail, WhatsApp or copy the link. The client opens it on any device, without an account. ⋯ › Preview as client shows exactly what they'll see.
When the client accepts
- The client types their name and accepts, or declines.
- gridOS creates the project and the invoices for the parts due on acceptance; the others are scheduled for their date or milestone. This happens the moment the client accepts, even with gridOS closed. With Asaas connected, the invoice due on acceptance gets its charge right away, and the client sees Pay the deposit and the Pix code on the proposal itself.
- If the client told you by other means, use Mark as accepted (only without a contract: with one, the client's signature accepts it).
Handy
- Duplicate copies a proposal as a new draft.
- Extend 15 days gives an expired proposal more time.
- An accepted proposal can't be changed.
